MS’s Slate Recommends Switching Away From IE

Microsoft’s own Slate online magazine is now recommending that people switch to the Mozilla Firefox web browser. They mention security as well as usability concerns. Seems like as good a time as any to me!

Looks like Firefox has some pretty bad holes itself, though recent released appear to have been fixed. It’s still going to take a long, long time before they reach the level of craptitude that is Internet Explorer, though.

I switched over to Firefox a couple of weeks ago, now, and I fucking adore it.

Not only does it have better security, yadda, yadda, but it’s got the best damn features I ever done seen. The Developer toolset alone is worth switching, for me.

I used to use the Avant shell with IE to get tabbed browsing, but Firefox’s tabs are so much doper. I’m just giddy about Firefox, yo.
