Wednesday:

I went to New York City.
It’s definitely grand. Big.
Also sorta dirty. It feels very much like a big city. I wandered around Manhattan a bit, and saw some art and stuff.

Culture, up my nose!

Sunday:

police, disrupting your flow.
take it you do, and you go.
yes. indeed. what a shame.
intensities crowded and butted out.
terrors torn to know.

So.

Sunday:

There was a crazy festival in the streets today. All sorts of African food and clothing, and lots of other random stuff, too.

I’ve heard more foreign languages while I’ve been in Boston than ever before in my life. Crazy place, sometimes.

Monday:

Fun stuff.

Monday:

I have had another birthday now.
I am an adult, with officiality.
And as painful as this may sound,
I think life just keeps getting better.
Woah.

Wednesday:

Chug chug.
Some days I feel as if life is just a big train that goes on forever. You can move between the cars a bit, and maybe poke your head out the window, but there’s no real getting off without a chance of major injury.

Wednesday:

I had a dream that half of my desk and my computer were missing when I got back to my office. I was quite distraught about it, and had to search all around and ask everybody. While I was doing that, there was some crazy commotion from everyone running around the office looking for something in particular. They had been set in motion by some mysterious outsider who had told them things in a big round room with 25 clocks of various shapes and sizes. (I counted!).

Saturday:

Disorganized film shoot today.
I hope some of the footage turns out ok. I need to figure out how to make it all fit together and sort of make sense. It’s a jumble of disconnected actions right now.

Saturday:

a short film idea:

a boy in the city notices a girl on the subway. He remembers seeing her earlier that day on the street near his house. He sees her again the next day on the street between his house and the subway stop. He starts seeing her all over the place, and starts thinking about her when he’s not seeing her. They never talk, but she seems him seeing her.

The interest gradually turns into a bit of an obsession for the boy. He starts intentionally trying to cross her path by guessing her daily plans. He follows her home and watches her from outside from time to time.

The boy starts noticing a second girl following him around, too. He realizes she has been watching him for awhile. He starts remembering her around during some of his memories of seeing the first girl. Then the boy starts noticing the second girl hanging out with the first girl.

Wednesday:

I like to watch people together in public. Couples and groups of people. They act a little different than they would just with themselves. Some actions are exaggerated and some actions are muted. I like to try to figure out what they’d be like without me around.
