iDallas!Why don’t people pay more attention to each other? You can learn a lot from other people. I’ve pretty much learned everything I know from paying careful attention to the problems of other people and the solutions they came up with.
Wisdom is not magic. Wisdom is all around you, happening all the time.
All you have to do is pay attention and take note.
I’m glad that people seem to be able to work together and solve problems and figure things out. I’m glad that people don’t give up on each other that easilly and we give each other a chance to improve ourselves and change the world.
I’m glad that the sun comes up in the morning and shines through my window. I’m glad I have a good spot to put a plant (when I get around to buying one).
I guess I should be glad I don’t have a job.
And I listened to some old music today. Not too old, but older
than most of the music I listen to now.
I listened to that Nirvana album. The one that made them famous.
It has “Smells Like Teen Spirit” on it. It’s a really nice album.
I also listened to an old Ministry album called “Twitch”
It’s the one I still listen to the most, even though it’s the oldest one
I have.
It’s pretty old.
Old music is nice sometimes.
It doesn’t have all the extra weight that new music has…
I’m a lot more critical now.
Anyone who watches Ally McBeel and saw last night’s episode is probably pretty excited for John. I know I am.
Ok.
Some system upgrades to Dreamhost have been going well. That’s good. It just takes a little bit of extra planning to make everything go smoothly. If you don’t plan, you might be ok, but the slightest complication can screw everything up.
Communication is the key.
Take it from me!
I was thinking today that the world might not be ready for me. My ideas might actually be dangerous. They might lead to mass hysteria and mental instability. Neither of those things is much good for a large group of people. Hysterical crazy people tend to be quite difficult to control. They just tend to do what amounts to randomness. They’re an amosity in the eyes of god and should probably be destroyed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
But, only if we can do it during the commercials. We can’t miss a single second of my favorite show!
I got a lot of work done.
I’ve been doing ok this week, despite being unable to wake up.
I got some stuff out of the way. I’m hoping I’ll be able to start really doing something interesting any week now.
I know it’s gonna happen.
That’s what we’re all waiting for, after all.
I was able to get enough sleep last night.
My days are so much more fruitful when I’m awake.
I’ve been quite busy, but I think I might actually be able to get on top of everything this week.
Sometimes I look out at the sky, and I clap my hands over my ears and I open up my lungs with a great big breath of air and I think about everything that is bothering me and I scream.
And that makes me feel better.
Sleep.
It gets in the way sometimes.
I’d rather not need it.
But it does feel so nice to go to bed when you’re really tired.
But right now, I have stuff to do, and I’ve already slept the last few days away.
So, work work work it is.
Why is it so difficult to decide what you want to do some days? It’s easier just to stay in bed or maybe just get up and read and write email all day. Or maybe just alternate between picking your nose and picking your butt.
