I wrote a new bit of music today.
I hope you like it:

Monday:

It does seem some days like the work never ends. And I suppose it doesn’t. It shouldn’t really. Once it feels like you don’t have anything to do, you’re probably wasting time. How you spend your time is your own choice, but you should at least choose something rather than just falling into whatever it is that comes along.

And on that note, I’m thinking about getting cable. There’s just not enough on television to make the TV I have worthwhile and buying lots of DVD’s as I have been doing is a drain on the finances!

If you have any thoughts on cable television, good or bad, let me know.

Wednesday:

I’m starting to develop some major gripes with the health insurance companies I’ve come into contact with.

They charge a lot for what they do for one thing, and we’re all practically forced into paying it. Well, in my case, my company pays for it, but that just means less money is left for me!

For another thing, the coverage is pretty weak. Friends of mine have had troubles getting what they need done paid for. If the insurance doesn’t cover what we need, what are we paying for??

On top of that, they just plain suck.
Mature, I know.

Socialized health care really does seem to be the logical choice.

Monday:

Fa la la.
I’m tunneling my way through the ground beneath me. I’m hoping I might find my way through to the other side of the Earth, so I can prove all those flat-earthers wrong. Everyone needs a goal, right?

I’m very goal-oriented, but also feel constrained by too tight of a goal. A loose goal isn’t really much of a goal at all, though… It’s more of a hope or an ideal. Maybe I’m really just idealistic.

Friday:

I have been so slow to update lately.
I’m sorry!

I’ve had a lot of thinking going on.
I also went snowboarding and stuff like that.

Yesterday I went to Internet World LA and saw all the big hype. It’s interesting and thought-provoking and tiring and annoying. As all conferences tend to be.

Now I am working on coming up with lots of brilliant ideas to make Newdream lots and lots of money without costing us very much. I will be extremely successful, of course, and the riches will come rolling in.

Monday:

I went to my first full-on wedding this weekend. It was nice. Everyone was dressed up, drinking, and being nice to each other. There will be lots more weddings in my life before all is said and done, and I think this one was an ok way to start it all off.

Wednesday:

Happy Heart Day and all that.
My day is going pretty well.
Things have been a little weird for the past couple of weeks, partly due to some health issues and partly just due to moodiness, but I think everything is on an upswing now.
Wahoo for that.

I’ll give you some extra-special love now:

la la la low.
Lip lip lam lee.
Larp limp lump loop.
Shram fragam mabam meebee.

Tuesday:

My kitty came back to me.
She just sort of came up to the front door one morning. Now, a few days later, she’s happilly cruising in and out on a regular basis. She hangs out outside with the cats all day and comes in with us when we return in the evening so we can feed her. She’s even back to her old usual eating habits, too. I think she might even get her gut back after awhile.

Happy days.

Thursday:

hurricanes are humming through my head, and all they can say is, ‘go to bed.’

An elephant is stomping on the rooftops above and shouting at me to turn down my music.

The power company is crying out for more attention and the world just doesn’t care. There’s nothing we need any more than air.

The flickering fire behind the window shade shows our soldier where home used to be, but when he enters he feels cold and alone.

An ant attracts me by its sense of duty, but then I kick down its hill and watch it comrades flee.

I am your enemy, wrapped in three layers of envy.

Wednesday:

My cat is still outside after 2 and a half weeks or so now. She just won’t come when I call her. This is starting to get sort of ridiculous. It’s not really like she ran away since she’s still in the immediate area, but it’s not completely like she didn’t, either. I’m not sure if I should leave food out for her or what…
I have to figure something out pretty quick now, though!
