I saw Mod Squad last night. Very solid entertainment. Great movie. Not high-art, but who doesn’t get sick of art sometimes?

Some parts of the world are so complicated still. I was shopping for insurance today… commercial liability insurance. It takes so much time to look through the phone book and call people up and give them the information they need… and then they have to look for good rates and get a quote together and then you have to look at the quotes.

I wish more stuff was online. Interacting with people is so inefficient!

Things are coming together.

Things are going well.

Things are happening.

And I realize that.

And I am glad about it…

But I still always have that nagging feeling that things could be going even better… I am never content.

But… there are always other people doing other things… and you just have to try to figure out what you need, and then decide if you have that or if you need to work toward getting something more.

Today, I saw a woman driving on the freeway in an aging American car, with a sticker on the back window that said, “I heart Tupperware”, but with a little heart symbol instead of the word heart.

Also, I saw a man standing in the middle of a busy street with lots of people walking around, shopping and stuff (Santa Monica 3rd St Promenade, no cars, just people), and the man was yelling things about the end of the world or something.

Weird.
I am blessed.

The lease for our new building should be ready tomorrow.
How weird.
We are going to have a building to ourselves to use for what we want.

A building.

Much more than a house.
And I think we can make it cozy, too.
I think we can.
And we will.

And we will all rejoice.
Things are going to work out.

We are all going to have so much fun.

Not a single person made any indication that the last gcoid posting went out at all.

Nobody unsubscribed. Nobody subscribed. And nobody sent me email.

I didn’t seem to have any effect at all.

Hrrmph.

I watched LA Story tonight.

What an amazing movie. So romantic and realistic at the same time.
I didn’t get it until I lived in Los Angeles, though.

There’s still so much to do. Things are coming along, though.

I’m frantic all the time, and I haven’t had much time to update the website or keep the world informed of my situation. I know it’s been a bother, but it will all be worth it!

I’m in the love with the scent of the air on a full moon night and the sound of the water falling from a drain on the side of a tall Victorian building and pounding to the centuries-old pavement below.

I’m in love with the chemicals in my water that keep harmful things from entering my body and the chemicals in my food that make it last long enough for me to eat it. I have a busy schedule.

It’s not much, but it’s something.
